Dear Stanislaus National Forest, Staff, Volunteers, and Partners,

You are cordially invited to an in – person, interactive, and FREE Leave No Trace Workshop! Recently the Stanislaus National Forest was selected by Leave No Trace to be a part of their Spotlight Program. We will be hosting a series of Leave No Trace Events from May 14-16, 2026 with two staff from Leave No Trace.

To kick off this event, Agency staff, partners, volunteers are invited to step into this dynamic, hands-on workshop built for the people who shape how the public experiences our lands. This session goes beyond the basics. You’ll sharpen your communication skills, explore real-world scenarios, and walk away with practical tools to confidently explain the “how” and “why” behind Leave No Trace in ways that truly resonate.

If you want to inspire better stewardship, strengthen your messaging, and feel more equipped to guide visitors toward responsible outdoor behavior, this workshop is your launch point.
