Hi all,
Looking for two (2) volunteers to assist two sawyers (Dave Moser, Jeff Hawley) in clearing forest service roads this Saturday, April 18th.
The Forest Service will “swing the gates” on the access roads like Crabtree/Gianelli, Bell Meadows, Herring Creek, etc. on April 15th. The Forest Service continues be to understaffed and would welcome our assistance in clearing trees off the road. This will involve likely cutting trees and then removing them from the road. Dave and Jeff did this last year and would appreciate the assistance of two people as part of the team. We will be working out of a single vehicle.
If you can assist, we will meet at Summit Ranger Station at 8:30 am. Weather is supposed to be favorable — cool but clear.
