Hello Members,
I would like to thank Charlie, Ryan, George, Carl, Ron and our two newest members Yvette and Greg for their outstanding work on July 8th. Together we removed 13 trees between Camp and Bear Lakes, cleaned 4 fire pits, removed one near Camp and finished brushing the trail all the way to Bear Lake.
Along the way, we encountered several backpackers and day hikers that all graciously thanked us for our work. The public appreciates the work of volunteers and forest service employees. We set the example for taking care of our wilderness and it sets the tone for hikers to follow our lead of leaving no trace while enjoying the forest. What we do makes a difference.
