Dear SWV Members Labor Day Leave No Trace (LNT) Event recap Friday and Saturday of Labor Day weekend was a great opportunity to assist the USFS and promote LNT principles with backcountry users. Attended by Jeff and Linda Hawley and Carl. Thank you Jeff and Linda! While Friday was a steady day, Saturday was incredibly busy. Saturday, SWV received 60 permits from those self-issuing outside the office. These were in addition to the many permits issued inside the very busy USFS office.
