All…SWV has a planned LNT project – staffing the LNT table outside of the Summit Ranger Station at Pinecrest from roughly 8:30 am to 3pm. We provide LNT messaging, helpful information to visitors and because it’s the Labor Day weekend, assist the Forest Service in issuing wilderness permits.
Chris Larimer is lead for LNT within SWV. Our LNT presence has been limited this season owing to the fact that Chris has transportation issues since driving is a challenge right now.
So – three asks if you can assist on the 31st:
1. Go to www.swv1.org, click on the EVENTS icon, click on the LNT Event for Aug. 31 and add your name to the list
2. Text Chris that you can attend. 209 529-0862
3. IF you can provide transportation for Chris – lives in Modesto to Pinecrest and back, that would be awesome. If that’s the case, please call Chris at the number above and work out the logistics.
