The weather is changing so perhaps spring is on the horizon. Stanislaus Wilderness Volunteers (SWV) are planning our upcoming season for projects. One of the elements of that planning is resources – volunteers who care for wilderness and keeping things wild. To that end, Tuolumne County is hosting a volunteer fair on Thursday, April 4th. This fair will showcase local volunteer organizations and provide information on volunteer opportunities. SWV will be represented at the fair and will be available to answer questions about who we are and what we do and to recruit volunteers with similar goals of contributing to the health and well-being of wilderness.
